Privacy policy
AIXOM Pty Ltd (ABN 30 694 648 292) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through aixom.com.au, why we collect it, who helps us handle it and how you can contact us about it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) where they apply to us.
What we collect
- Enquiries. When you use our contact form we receive your name, your company (if you give it), your email address or phone number, and your message.
- Emails. If you email us directly, we receive your email address and anything you include in your email.
- Technical information. As with any website, our web server receives your IP address and basic browser information when you visit. To prevent repeated form submissions, our server records the IP address and time of each enquiry in memory for up to 24 hours. This record is never written to disk, contains no form content and is cleared whenever the service restarts.
- No tracking. This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers.
How we use it
We use your information to reply to your enquiry, to discuss possible work with you, and to keep the website secure and free of spam. We don’t sell personal information, and we won’t add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.
Who helps us handle it
- Web3Forms (web3forms.com) receives the contact form and forwards it to us by email. It handles that information under its own privacy policy.
- Microsoft 365 hosts our email, so enquiries and emails are stored in our Microsoft 365 mailbox.
- Our website runs on a cloud server that we manage.
Some of these providers may store or process information outside Australia.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails for as long as we need them to respond to you and for our business records. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold from misuse, loss and unauthorised access.
Access, correction and questions
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask a question about this policy by emailing contact@aixom.com.au. We aim to respond within 30 days.
Complaints
If you are concerned about how we have handled your personal information, please email us first so we can try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
